What You’ll Need
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is one of the few countries where you can obtain a marriage licence after being in the country for only one day. This licence is issued in one day and can be obtained through the office of the Solicitor General in Kingstown which is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3pm.
The following documentation is required: valid passports; if either party is divorced, both original and copy of Decree Absolute; in the case of a widow/widower, original and notarised copy of Death Certificate of spouse; if adopted, certificate is required. Couple must be resident in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for a minimum of one day, not including the day of arrival, before applying for a marriage licence. All documents must be in English. If the originals are in another language, they must be translated into English and certified.
